Lessons
Drop Spindle
Learn the traditional way to spin yarn…….with a drop spindle. Lesson is approximately 1-2 hours and is given on a one-on-one basis, or if you have a friend or two who also want to learn, please feel free to have them sign up as well. We’ll definitely get you hooked on spinning.

Spinning Wheel
Want to go a little more in depth with spinning since the drop spindle? Want to learn to spin your own yarn? Lesson schedule is split into 2 sessions approximately 2-3 hours each. First session you will learn the basics about fiber/wool and preparation techniques and learn about the spinning wheel. The second session, you will learn the basics of spinning and plying. You will take home your first skein of yarn and a great feeling of accomplishment. Sessions may be one-on-one or if you have a friend or two who also want to learn, please feel free to have them sign up as well.

Are you up for an adventure…..learn to knit or crochet.
Beginner Knitting
Learn the basics of knitting. Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and binding off. Lesson schedule is split into 2 sessions so as to not overwhelm you. The first session you will learn to cast on and knit stitch. Session is approximately 1-2 hours. The second session you will learn the purl stitch and binding off. Session is approximately 1-2 hours. You will take home a knitted dishcloth or scarf.

Beginner Crochet
Learn the basics of crochet. Learn the crochet chain, the Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Half Double Crochet and Triple Crochet stitches. Lesson schedule is split into 2 sessions so as to not overwhelm you. The first session you will learn to chain, single and double crochet Session is approximately 1-2 hours. The second session you will learn the half double and triple crochet, then work on a dishcloth or scarf. Session is approximately 1-2 hours. You will take home a crocheted dishcloth or scarf.
