Picking is the process in which locks are separated or teased so that any remaining debris can fall or be picked out of the fiber. This process is done in preparation for the carding process.
Carding
Picking and Carding $6.00 per lb.
Carding is the process in which fibers are aligned to make spinning easier.
Blending
Picking, Carding, Blending $8.00 lb.
Blending only $6.00 per lb.
- Fleeces that contain high levels of unwanted material will NOT be accepted and returned to the owner at the owner's expense.
- All prices are subject to change without notice.
- Type of payments accepted: PayPal, Check, or Money Order.
- $30.00 fee will be charged for returned checks.
- Return shipping paid by fleece owner.
- Shipping will be by UPS or USPS.
- Payment in full is due before fiber is returned.
- Fiber unpaid for 90 days after notification of completion automatically becomes property of Folklore Fibers.
